First, it is not a real resort! It is an apartment real estate project mixed with resort guests.
Thus the facilities for resort tourists are too little, too limited and below standard. It looks nice on the pictures, but for example there are not enough swimming pools, there is no lobby, no disco, a ridiculous small sauna, and so on.
They try to fix these problems with for example a shuttle to a minuscule private beach (where you will be packed like in a cinema looking to a third class sea location) or organizing paid trips to a club at night in Kusadasi and so on.
The rooms might look spacious and luxurious. Because they are designed for Turkish families who buy such an apartment. However they are not suited for resort tourists. For example, you will be eaten alive by insects because the windows have no protection against them. So you have to close the windows at night. At that point you will discover the sewage problem. A bad smell comes from the bad rooms. Perhaps because the complex is build on a hill, the sewage is somehow not drained enough.
(if you complain they seem to flush the sewage system with water but still the rooms have not enough ventilation for a good air quality at night. Unless you keep the windows open and are eaten alive by the bugs)
Probably because the architects planed for quiet Turkish families they did not expect that the small swimming pools in the center of the apartments will be over used by loud/drunken tourists during the day and late into the night.
(If you have really bad luck you will have a room where the problematically British gather. They are aggressive, unpleasant and above all loud)
The sound problems are a general problem. Everywhere noises from machines, badly placed facilities, roads and so on.
For these kind of reasons the apartments are probably largely not sold to Turkish families and they try to convert it into a resort now.
Of course the mountain hill view is beautiful. But this view is largely unavailable or used for the resort tourists in practice.
The breakfast is bad. Unless you are English and like cheap eggs, beans and sausages.
The lunch remembers you at the times that your family had no money and your mother was creative. The remains of the previous day are recycled and so on.
The evening diner you look forward because there at last is food. But it is cheap, low quality compared to considerable cheaper resorts we visited.
Basically the whole system pushed you to eat as cheaply as possible. And you find yourself quickly eating at the snack bars a pizza or a simple salad with tuna. Also because of the walking distance to the main restaurant and your desire to keep your place at the swimming pool.
The lower staff is extremely friendly and good. They are also very respective towards women. But management seems to be only aimed at keeping expenses as low as possible. We observed a number of times that a tourist was bullied by management. However the lower staff is certainly super quality.
The animation team performs most of the evening shows. Other resorts hire considerable more outside professional performers. So after a few night it is more of the same. Also it has a "school theater" / "toilet humor" quality. Except for the acrobats.
Because the animation team is used for the shows, and to bring tourists to the external clubs (remember the place has no disco or place to dance) they are too sleepy during the day to do the normal animation activities.
Realize that there is also minimal space at night to relax except one small bar, who turns in the evening into an overcrowded "east enders" pub. The nighty shows are not only low quality but also badly planned, so your evenings will have boredom gaps and you fill find yourself going to your rooms often with a feeling of wanting to do something but there is nothing to do.
You will find no musicians like in other resorts. Music is bad taste, loud and intended to convince you that everybody is having fun. But look aga
