A laid-back hotel, which although a little tired looking and perhaps a bit old fashioned, offers clean and comfortable accommodation.
We stayed in the Riverside accommodation, room 8, which overlooks the river and had its own balcony, which was a bonus.
Downside was the walk (in the rain) to get to dinner, but believe me its worth it!.
The evening meal is top class, just the same as the previous time we stayed here. Excellent flavours, quality and presentation almost 10/10!. The welcome to dinner could be improved on - a little regimental?.
If your a lover of fine food in a relaxed atmosphere then add this hotel to your list.
