We were lucky to spot this jewel of a foot temple through an article in The Daily Telegraph. It's a romantic 300 year old huge farmhouse with some 10 rooms all beautifully decorated by the owners Karin and Pepi Wolfram and they really do their best to make you feel at home. Breakfast is a huge selection of local produce, eggs to your liking and the best fresh fruit salad I have tried (next to the one my wife makes). Dinner is every night a 5 course imaginative deal, formal printed menues and accompagnied by some of the best Austrian and Italian wines one can think off. This is true pampering, don't miss the wooden Sauna after the skislopes....in Austria Sauna's are mixed and normally naked...There is a luxury skibus taking you to the lifts every day, and the public skibus stops right outside. Although in St. Jacobs which is 1.5 mile from the nearest lift, this is really no problem. Your boots and gloves are heated overnigh in the skiroom on special rails, nice touch!
We will return!
