Barangây

I'm a regular visitor to Amsterdam and Barangay is one of the best places to stay in the city. The rooms are deigned with originality and flair, with an exotic feel. The new Buddha temple room looks fab. On my last visit, a particularly cold January day, Wimmo met me with a cup of hot chocolate laced with rum. I got my favourite room (the L-shaped patio room) which is comfortable and quiet - very important to me as I'm a really light sleeper. A large and varied breakfast is served in the room or in the communal kitchen. The guys know Amsterdam well (both speak perfect English) and were able to recommend things I'd not seen in my previous 40-odd visits . The location is perfect for sightseeing and nightlife. A strong recommend.
