La Mucchia

We loved La Mucchia, it is just the perfect place to do your vacation with small kids or just as a couple, the farmhouse is about 300 years old but restored in perfect way, just the old Tuscan style, and we loved each part of it to the small particulars. The location is great for day trips, we went to visit Assisi and perugia in one trip, less then hour drive, then the next day Siena and the abbey of Monte Oliveto maggiore, which is also one hour drive, the third day we went by train to Florence for the whole day, as was recommended by the owners and it was lovely, just one hour and twenty minutes and the train station is right 5 min drive with free parking. The day after we went to montepulciano and Pienza for wine tasting and percorino chease and this was short drive, about half an hour . For our last day we stayed around the pool and enjoyed dinner at Paolo in Cortona, our best restaurant, called Trattoria dardano in via dardano. the Cinghiale was great !!! We loved la Mucchia.

Byliśmy w La Mucchia na tydzień w zeszłym miesiącu, To miejsce jest niesamowite! Cortona jest piękna, nasze dzieci cieszyły się zwłaszcza fabrykę czekolady Perugina i jeziora Trasimeno jazda na rowerze wokół.będziemy z powrotem wkrótce.

It is the third time that me and my husband are coming to La Mucchia casa vacanze, since the farm hotel was opened in 2008. The first year was in May, just about the opening, there was a pool in construction. Since then, the hotel improved from a year to a year, the olive grove , the lawns, the new gazebos, the owners are investing every year more and more. The quality of the hotel is immaculate, the hosts are charming and their tips and attention is incomparable to all places we have been before and after. so we shall continue to visit when ever we can do it in the future again.

I visited La Mucchia villa, early this year, it is my fourth time in Tuscany, but never been to a place like the last one. The photos on their site make no justice to the place, La Mucchia is a beautiful stone house built 300 years ago and restored with the best way one can do. I spent beautiful vacation with my family, thanks also to the tips and suggestions the owners gave us each morning when we plan our day.I will recommend the La Mucchia farmhouse to all my friends.

we hebben het vakantiehuis La Mucchia in Cortona toevallig op het internet gevonden en waren meteen onder de indruk van het prachtig gerestaureerde boerenhuis,onmiddelijk geboekt voor vijf dagen in Juni,en hebben er nog twee dagen aangeplakt,zo ontspannend en rustgevend was het er.Heel erg vriendelijke en zorgzame eigenaren,die vele talen spreken,ondere anderen ook Nederlands,en heel behulpzaam waren bij het plannen van allerlei korte en langere dag tochtjes als wij daar zin in hadden,en meestal ter afsluiting,s'avonds gezellig bij het zwembad of op ons terrasje met een lekker wijntje.Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar,er is nog veel te zien daar,en La Mucchia wordt door ons van harte aanbevolen aan al onze bekenden.
