A treasure of a campsite
The second time l have been here ,and it does not disappoint. Good location, very good fees, good pitches well maintained by the man who runs it, Geoffrey. Who is very friendly and helpful.A short walk takes you to a supermarket one way and the town is a short walk the other.ideal place to base yourself for many things WW2 stuff including the corridor of death museum, the only Tiger Tank left in France is at the roadside a couple of miles out of town near where it stopped during the breakout. William the Conquerors castle is within 25 miles.and not forgetting the Camembert museum which is actually very interesting. All in all an excellent site .

trés bonne - very good - nagyon jó!!
I've spent a few days in the camping of Vimoutiers. The camping was beatiful: full of plants, flowers etc; and it was clean. There is not any restaurant in the camping, but it is in the centre of the town, so there is a lot of shops etc. The country (pay d'auge) is the beautiest i've seen. The leaders of the camping was very kind and helpful. I will go back, if i'll have the chance.

Nice Spot
Outside the pretty town centre but easy walking distance anyway- a quiet town and camping ground- in the middle of nice rolling country- I was cycling and would recommend the camp ground- good area for WW2 research-near to the Falaise Gap and Tiger tank overlooking the town
