Yes, the hotel is housed in a very old building, so you won't have luxury, and you will hear the noisy neighbors, walk on uneven floors and have a window through which the cold seeps in. But the atmosphere of the hotel is amazing, visiting a medieval city and actually staying in a building that's been there for centuries is quite the experience. The in-room shower and hallway bathroom were fine, the entire hotel was cleaned quite well, bed wasn't especially good or bad. It's a good 2-star hotel and you get what you pay for. The only thing I would urge the hotel to do is to place electric heaters in the room for winter season besides the central heating. I visited on a brisk, but not cold November day in which the temperature didn't go below 10 degrees celsius but the room was still quite cold. I would not have wanted to stay there in the death of winter when it's freezing and snowing outside.
