Bandeirantes

Geen bijzonder mooi ogend hotel, maar het is een net hotel met een mooie ligging niet al te ver van het strand Copacabana. De kamers zijn eenvoudig, met een goede badkamer en helaas wel een luide airconditioning (gelukkig wel werkend). Het ontbijt is erg goed verzorgt en er keuze genoeg. Al met al een prima hotel om een paar dagen te verblijven. Het zwembad op het dak is overigens ook het vernomen waard.

Olá gostaria de compartilhar minha opinião sobre minha estadia de 04 dias no Rio de Janeiro acerca do Hotel Bandeirantes localizado na Av. Barata Ribeiro em Copacabana. Fui muito mau atendido até desrespeitado por recepcionistas principalmente um senhor grisalho que na parte noturna, ar condicionados barulhentes e que não gela, secadores de cabelo com defeito, a insatisfação do hotel por parte de outros hóspedes era geral nas depêndencias e elevadores do mesmo. Enfim no dever de alertar outras pessoas, para que não tenham a sua tão sonhada viagem prejudicada, queria divulgar tal opinião. OBS: ele não é digno de 03 estrelas. Grato Marconny Sampaio

I arrived at 7am and had to twist arms to get them to either give me my room or take my small bag for a few hours until check-in. The room was clean and standard. Breakfast was good. This is an average hotel.

Several things make us recommend this hotel: very well situated--close to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches and to the subway, walking distance to many restaurants and cafes; friendly and competent service; modest but clean rooms with relaxing shower; satisfying breakfast; and fair price. My wife and I both agree that we would glady stay there again.

The hotel rooms are quite good, great showers. The hotel is not in a fantastic area but the main strip of copacobana beach is a short walk away. There aren´t heaps of good restaurants close by. Good breakfast. The staff during the day were good, helped us change rooms when we wanted a room with 3 beds for a friend who was joining us. Other staff however were less than helpful, for example, they charged us twice for a mini bar item that was not replaced by their staff even though I told them about this as soon as I noticed it was not replaced. We also asked for a wake up call at 4.30am to get a bus and we did not get the call. When we asked the receptionist he just said, oh yes I noticed that I forgot to call you. Would have been good to get a call late rather than not at all. Overall though, its not a bad hotel.
