25-6-2009 Quite expensive and yet definitely only three stars. Completely clean, good beds (singles pushed together, not double), bathroom fine. Breakfast good. Bar non-existent, at least a times we might have used it. A little Germanic and stark and unfeeling. Great connections - short walk in park to fabulous river side restaurant, and boat across to the other side of Lake Leman. Short walk to tram to UN buildings and into Centre. Direct bus to airport.

25-6-2009 The hotel was great, ideal location on bus route number 1 which is located close to the Botanical Gardens and near the lake but not right in the centre of town. We received a free travel pass valid for the duration of our stay to get around the city. This worked out at a saving of almost 80 Euros (10 Euros per day at 4 days for 2 people!)

The room was clean and relatively big, the balcony was lovely although to have a view of the lake one would have to be located on either the third or fourth floors.

Breakfast was delightful with fresh tea and coffee and a selection of chesses, hams and pastries (fresh every day)

On the constructive side: Hotel should really think about putting tea and coffee making facilities in the room - the English do love their cup of tea in the morning! A communal iron and ironing board on the 3rd floor was not really what I expected from a 3+star hotel.

Other than that it was great - woukld highlighy recommend and use Skoosh again!

25-6-2009 Hotel was excellent value for money especially as we were given travel cards on arrival .These could be used on buses, trams and the yellow boats which meant no extra travelling costs during our stay. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Hotel Eden was quiet and convinient for the city centre. We would definately stay there again.

25-6-2009 I liked staying at the Hotel Eden as it was very close to the city centr, yet in a very nice area as there was a very big beautiful park right opposite it. The park for me was a seller - great for morning walks or cycling or even skating - as it was along the river bank with very great views. The hotel itself was very clean, staff very polite and helpful with regards on what to do locally i.e hire a bicicyle for free for 4 hours to take a tour of the city or ride through the park.

25-6-2009 excellent value for the money. Hotel was immaculate. Rooms were nicely decorated and spacious for Europe. Breakfast was better than expected. About 25 minutes (walking) from the "old town" or center but bus#1 stops outside hotel and brings you into town in ten minutes. Hotel provides Geneva Card which allows free travel on all public transport.

25-6-2009 Yes i would recommend the Hotel Eden, The cold buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide and varied choice,The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel was a ten minute walk to the centre.

25-6-2009 Very Nice hotel. The Staff were excellent, they were very helpful. The loaction was close to the lake and City so we found getting around pretty easy. Overall I would definately recommend this hotel.

25-6-2009 My wife and I arrived at the hotel and we were welcomed by a very lovely lady at the reception who answered all our questions in a professional and courteous manner.

The food at the restaurant was fantastic. There was one particular waitress who was very friendly and helpful. Since we couldn't speak French fluently, it was reassuring that most of the staff could communicate in English.

The cleaning staff were also very efficient in tidying our rooms. Having a safe in our room to keep our personal belongings also saved us from carrying important documents around during our stay in Geneva.

On the whole, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and we'll definitely recommend it to friends visiting Switzerland.
