I absolutely would reccomend it to others. The staff was awesome, the rooms quaint, and it was within walking distance to any where one would want to go. We had no problems with anything there. The price through Skoosh (even with the currency exchange) was $60.00 cheaper per night than the rest of the wedding party had to pay. When you check in tell Anne or Monica that Sparkie sent you. Give Phillip (you'll see him on the corner handing out menus for the restraunt connected to the hotel) a hug from all of us. We will definitely be back. Have fun, life is too short.
Very New Orleans-ish
As a resident of New Orleans, this hotel definitely had the character that caters to city and its people...buuuut, I could definitely see how someone coming from out of town would be a little sketched out. I stayed on the 3rd floor (high ceilings!) and loved the interior look with the exposed brick. Shower was tiny, tv was tiny (who cares, go out and play in the city), and over all had a musty/quaint feel to the hotel. The hotel staff is pretty chill, don't expect professional uptight jackasses.
