25-6-2009 We have always enjoyed our stays at the Amalfi hotel in Chicago and this stay was no exception. All the staff were friendly and helpful and worked hard to make our stay a pleasure. I felt we certainly received value for the price.
We even got up graded to a corner room.

25-6-2009 The Amalfi is a terrific hotel. It has that European boutique flavor - which we prefer to the cookie-cutter sameness of the large chains. The staff was pleasant and very helpful, rooms pretty,and clean and well equipped. Breakfast in the elevator lobby was nice and the happy hour was marvelous. It is well located, too and we'd gladly return. Great value for the money.

25-6-2009 We had a great experience with the Amalfi Hotel. The people were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent (very short walk from the subway). A suitable breakfast served every morning right down your hallway so you don't have to go all the way to the lobby to grab a cup of coffee and a roll. If there was any drawback, it would have to be the size of the room we had. It was somewhat small, but not that big of a deal.

25-6-2009 The Amalfi was a wonderful experience. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here for a long weekend in Chicago and wouldn't have wanted to stay any place else. The staff was kind and courteous. The amenities were wonderful (you have to love free Aveda products). The manager's reception at night was amazing, saving us about $30 on drinks and appetizers that we would have had to get at a restaurant. The morning complimentary breakfast was great also. We definitely will come back to the Amalfi!

25-6-2009 4 day business trip, stayed here because it's close to my downtown client's offices; can't praise the staff enough -- all were friendly, helpful and efficient. Good workout center, business center, and the rooms are clean and modern. Definitely will stay here again.

25-6-2009 The location of the Amalfi hotel is great. It is just a block or so away from the house of blues and just a few blocks away from the Wendella Boat Cruises and Trump Tower. As for the room, it was beautiful and luxurious. The Aveda shower products were a plus. The breakfast was not too great, the basic continental items including bagels, muffins, bananas and apples. There was fruit and yogurt, but no cereal or milk. Overall, we were able to get a good deal on the hotel from Skoosh and we were very happy with the deal. We would definitely stay here again!

25-6-2009 Very attentive staff, quiet, spacious room and comfortable bed. Exceeded my expectations in every way. Valet was a bit expensive ($43/day), but overall value was excellent.
