11-9-2006 We stayed at Historic for 3 nights. We are a couple, but we got a four persons apartment: a small hall with on your right side a bathroom with bath, a large living with kitchen, with on the right side a double (with two little balconies)and a twin room All rooms are spotless clean and comfortable. There is a large TV. No airco but a van. Girona itself is a wonderful city, especially the old part where you will find Hotel Historic. It has a lot of small, beautiful streets which give you the impression to enter the middle ages but with all modern comfort. If you arrive by plane, take the bus to Girona bus station (a return ticket costs 3,40 euro) and than a taxi to the hotel (about 7 euro).
We intend to return to Girona, and Hotel Historic at 90 euro per night (excl. breakfast)will be our first choice (only bookable through their website hotelhistoric.com).
