11-5-2011 We went to the Ecopod for 1 week in April 2011 my birthday and loved it.
The view is stunning and you have it all to yourselves. The verandah in front of the Ecopod has two very comfy inflatable Blofield chairs and an uninterrupted view of the loch and Castle Stalker.
We sat out every evening, which for May was wonderful as we were very lucky with the weather which was 21 degrees celsius and felt like summer.
The quality of the interior is excellent, the bathroom is circular and has a great shower and bathrobes provided. I have taken a few photographs of the different areas of the pod, it all felt very spacious and openplan. The bedroom has a really comfortable bed with great pillows made from latex which suited me perfectly, I found them so comfortable. All the bedding is cotton. The view from the bedroom window is of trees and the sun sets in that direction.
The kitchen has everything you need and we cooked on 4 out of the 7 evenings.
It was a really lovely place to stay.
