25-6-2009 This was our first resort vacation, and we loved it. Beautiful grounds, wonderful people, excellent restaurant, fantastic beach. We took the shuttle into town for two nights, too, and loved that. We walked around a few other resorts, including the El Cid's and other Pueblo Bonita, and found Emerald Bay much nicer than any of them. I would highly recommend it, but probably not for a honeymoon. It was rather family oriented, though it was fine for us young newlyweds, too. They had activities throughout the day, but i chose to stay most of the day at the beach. Pools were rather crowded, but not overly so.
