I would recommend this hotel to others that are looking for comfortable contemporary accomodations with some Mexican flair.
Service is attentive and fast, bathroom facilities and room are clean and updated.
The semi-private beach is free of merchants selling goods, and although the sea is rough, sitting under the "palapas", particularly in the morning, allowed me to feel like all the beach was there almost just for me, with beautiful views.
The balcony is relatively large, and I could enjoy the sound of the surf, but I was disappointed to find that I had to walk to the edge of the balcony to fully appreciate the view as the layout of the building in a pyramid shape tends to partially obstruct the views from inside the room.
Hotel food is good but pricey, and pursuing other options requires taking a taxi to find other hotels, restaurants, etc. which some might consider a disadvantage, although it suited me since I wanted to be away from the crowds and did not want to be in a "touristy" environment.
Overall, a pleasant experience and would easily go back.
