18-11-2010 Cualquiera que haya viajado por Italia y haya visto la calidad media de los hoteles, se sorprenderá de la magnífica relación de calidad-precio ofrecida por el Palazzo Guardi. Muy bien situado muy cerca de la Accademia, sus habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. A dos minutos del vaporetto y del barco que lleva al aeropuerto. En general muy recomendable.

8-11-2010 Palazzo Guardi à Venise est un très bon hôtel : petit, propre, avec un petit déjeuner correct, à 20 minutes de San Markt et la même distance de Piazalla Roma, où on arrive de l'aéroport. 25-6-2009 It isn't as nice as the pictures, but still overall a very nice place.

25-6-2009 We just came back from 3 nights stay at this hotel. It is a good find for us. the room is quite spacious, it is close to most sites via walking (15 walk to St Mark Square) or ferry. The owner Lucio speaks very good English and is extremely helpful. There is an tall Asian guy there in the evenings, who spoke good English but not very eager to help (that would be only mark against this hotel). The info on the website is incorrect, we were told the line 82 ferry is no longer operating. Instead you can take line 1 or 2 from PIAZZALE ROMA (cost $3 Euro to get from airport on a bus to PIAZZALE ROMA). Line 1 leads you to Accademia ferry stop, LIne 2 leads you to ZATTERE ferrt stop. It is much easier to find the hotel if you take Line 1.

25-6-2009 The location was good, close enough to the main attractions so walking was easy. Compared to other Venice hotels of a similar standard and location it represents good value. Spacious room, adequate in-room facilities, free wifi! We stayed in their other building about 100m away which meant no lobby or front desk and very little human contact - which may or may not appeal to you. Complimentary breakfast was welcome but a bit thin on variety! Overall I'd recommend if all you want is a room and nothing else from a hotel.

25-6-2009 We have just spent a lovely short break in Venice and were fortunate to have stayed in the Palazzo Guardi Hotel. The hotel is somewhat hidden up a very narrow passage way just a couple of minutes walk from the Accademia Bridge and Zattere stops , but is well sign posted. The hotel is housed in two separate buildings - the main part has the 24 hour reception (and extremely tiny and slow lift to the reception on the second floor!) We stayed in the other part of the hotel where we given a front door key to let ourselves in and out! The room was a good size and perfectly adequate - it was also very quiet and felt a million miles away from the noise and bustle of the city. Breakfast was disappointing, but that aside the fantastic location of this hotel more than made up for it.

25-6-2009 Very well situated, very helpful, friendly staff. Good value, relative to the general cost of hotels in Venice. I would go back in a minute.

25-6-2009 The staff were very welcoming and the hotel was easy to find from the directions given on the website.

The room was exactly as shown on one of the pictures and nicely decorated and furnished. The bathroom was very nice and extremely clean.

The breakfast was very nice but the choices were quite limited. The breakfast room is a cosy spot with nice views over a small canal.

I think it represented good value for money as it was very centrally situated. It took about ten minutes to walk to St Mark's Square and had the benefit of being away from any noisy areas.

25-6-2009 Very nice setting, convenientely located close to academia bridge. Very friendly staff, good value for the money. Reccomended for young travellers that are Ok going up stairs (elevator limited)
