Usually I'm not such a fan of museums not exhibiting paintings and art but archeological or historical pieces of importance. I didn't find the British Museum to be all that interesting for example, but Museo Egizio definitely spiked an interest! They have a very extensive collection, the second largest of Egyptian antiquities in the world actually next to the one in Caïro itself. The building is beautiful, the staff is kind, the objects are displayed very attractively and I am very curious as to how it all will look after the renovation/new buildings are complete! Wasn't too expensive and well worth the money!
