28-5-2010 it's the best hostel absolutely. The owner seems to live there and as the living room is his, it's full of interesting books also about Iceland and an incredible collection of classical music CD! I counted a thousand of cd!!! The rest of the house is comfortable, the kitchen is extremely good and there's enough space for everybody. It' easy to know people there for this reason: in the evening we enjoyed the music and we had dinner together with other guests. Owner's cats sometimes go around the house or sleep on the sofa creating a very familiar atmosphere. What is incredible is the breakfast prepared by the owner. for two people: two bowls full of different kind of corn flakes, tea, milk, two kind of big can of Skyr, 5 eggs, jam, butter, a lot of bread, sliced bananas in a plate, other fruit, a plate of mixed salade, cheese.... and so on. Everybody thought there was a group in arrive, but the breakfast was only for the two guys who had a shock when came into the room!
