Our first impression was poor: we had to carry our luggage up a dozen steps from the curb, with no offer of help from the staff. I would NOT recommend the place to anyone with a wheelchair or a baby carriage. However, the hotel is attractive and modern. Our room was well-furnished and fairly quiet (despite the nearby airport and a New Year's party going on down the hall). We had low expectations of the restaurant after reading other reviews, but were pleasantly surprised by our dinner--even though they were preparing for the New Year's party at the same time. Our flight left before breakfast, so we can't comment on the food otherwise. This hotel is VERY far from the center of Thessaloniki, so bring a book or be prepared to pay 20 Euros for the half-hour taxi ride to town.
