Having returned for another visit to this wonderful Hotel, Linda and I feel very refreshed. The feeling of relaxation hits you the moment you re-enter reception. The peace and tranquillity just washes over you.
It is a fact that you do not realise just how much you are wound up, until you unwind, and the Anastasia Hotel, Michael and his wonderful staff, has that effect on you.
If you are looking for a place to just chill, then look no further than this little gem.
We were fortunate enough to find ourselves in the newly built block 7, a truly wonderful room. It was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. (although we prefer room 116, which is an ideal size for us, and gets the sun most of the day on the balcony).
The chef continues to supply excellent food, and his 14-day menu means you don’t have repetitive meals that so often happens in other hotels.
The restaurant staff work very hard to keep the food coming and to clear the tables as quick as they possibly can.
The bar staff are great fun, and very professional. I am amazed at some of the comments made by others who have visited this hotel. They complain at the prices they pay as compared to pubs and taverns in Stalis itself, but, honestly.
Do you really think that you are getting real Mythos at 2 euros a pint??? And is it brand name spirits that you are being served in these other establishments? I don’t think so.
I challenge anyone considering a trip here to find a hotel in Greece that has FREE air conditioning, FREE use of a fridge, FREE use of an Iron. Pool towels for rent. A wellbeing facility.
I have said it before and make no apologies for repeating myself, the secret to this Hotel, isn’t really a secret. It is all down to Michael and his wonderful staff.
Having visited a few times now, we truly consider them to be our friends, and we look forward to meeting them again next year.
Thank you all for helping us to unwind and return home truly refreshed.
