9-11-2011 Driving from the airport to Kato Asites is easy and relaxed. Within the small village, short corner, a café, old men playing cards outside. 2 minutes we have arrived. A beautiful Greek built building. Big and impressive. I do recognize it from internet. Helena welcomes us friendly and in Greek. A lovely apartment with a balcony heading east. So you can have breakfast in the sun. Waking up in the warmth. The night is so quiet that even I can sleep longer than usual.
After breakfast (fresh bread everyday) we pack out stuff and go south. The quiet, beautiful southern part of Greece. Cosmos, Malata and Kalamaki, go there! Lovely beaches and what’s more important cosy restaurants.
About food: Driving through a little village, you see a sign ‘Taverna”. Just go in. So honest and great tastes.

13-8-2011 We had our holiday this summer in Asion Lithos. Appartments were very clean. Kept clean every day by a very nice lady. Received clean towels and sheets every other 2 days. The pool was great, clean water. Owner Nikos was kind and helpful, although his English was a bit poor, but we managed.
Village is in walking distance. A couple of supermarkets, were you can buy almost everything. People are very nice and kind.
On the hill there is a nice and good restaurant, which is not very expensive and you have a nice view.
The only thing we didn't like was the poolbar. Nikos' son owned the bar and invited his friends from 17.00 till late. Music was loud ! So no peaceful atmosphere. Just for you to know in case you are booking an appartment for your rest !
