If you want real old fashioned camping - where your younger kids can run around, climb trees, fly kites, play football or volleyball, ride bikes, swim in the little pool, ride in the donkey cart, help collect eggs - then here you are. But there are modern, clean amenities for the parents, good showers, a washing mahine, and a freezer for all to share, and a communal barbecue area as well.
You can pitch your tents, or park caravans either in the open meadow or in sheltered woodland. It's quiet, and not in a heavily tourist area, but the local towns are pleasant, there's a great garden nearby, with a narrow guage railway, and Albi is a swift half hour up the road. We liked it a lot, though teenagers might want the city lights and more action.
