2-10-2012 Hebben grote caravan gehuurd. Deze was zeer netjes, luxueus, alles binnenin top. Jammer dat er geen terras was rechtstreeks aan de deur, en was picknick tafel... Niet echt comfi. Geen verbinding noch van gsm noch van internet... Daarvoor was trip naar Dorp nodig. Strand op wandelafstand: 20 minuten.! Mooie locatie voor bodyboarders. Super omgeving...sanitair, ed zag er ok uit voor de "echte" kampeerders. Super site voor kinderen. Zeer rustig

22-8-2011 My family & I booked Easter week 2011 at this site and on arrival found the owners very polite and helpful. The static Grand Court Mobile Home we had booked was to an impressive standard and thoroughly clean. Only encountered a problem on the 2nd or 3rd day when heating broke but this was repaired speedily. The view from the balcony is excellent ( the owners have resisted the temptation to develop a large green in front of the statics to their credit ) as are the surrounding cliff walks. The side walkway to the balcony could be wider allowing you to sit in a sheltered spot when the wind blows through the valley (( but this is a minor observation )). A 15 min walk either direction takes you to a food serving pub, a beach, a chippy & a restaurant. The lady at the farm next door bakes lovely bread and scones etc.
In short, Peaceful, quiet, pleasant surroundings,well maintained. What more could you ask! PS If you want noise & entertainment then go to another site.

7-9-2010 We've been here twice now and have already booked for next. The camp site is beautifully situated, being a short, pleasant walk to the beach.
The site is very safe for children of all ages and they are well catered for with a games room and decent play area.

Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a chilled out, relaxed and peaceful holiday

18-8-2010 Grest location, lovely site, toilets & showers not state of the art but very clean.
Been going there for 20 years off & on seen several owners, all with good & bad points. The site has always had a quiet rule and is not the cheapest around but find that keeps undesirables away. The latest owners are passionate about improving the facilities and maintaining the peacefullness, some people dont like change & I think have made unnecessary negative reviews. We will continue to go to Sunhaven as it suits us. Not the poshest or most up to date but great facilities and very helpful owners.

16-11-2010 This site is the nicest we've been to, as a family with young children a site for them to be safe in and enjoy was the number 1 priority. The children were delighted with the park and we believe there is a new addition still to come and be enjoyed. The toy box that you could borrow various toys from was a hit and reminded me of my childhood pre-computers, it was great to be able to play with the family!
I'm not sure that this site would work so well for 14 years plus as the games room is small and there is no entertainment on site so we would imagine that they might not be so easily amused.
The facilities were well maintained and clean - who can ask for more?
We enjoyed ourselves and will be back with Grand parents next year.

18-3-2012 It is always good to return to SunHaven, there is something new each time, to do or see. Generally it is for people who like a bit of peace and Cornish countryside and dont want to party till dawn. I have been on many walking excursions from the site along the coastal path or inland. If you want entertainment or a bar you will need to stroll down to Mawgan Porth which is only about 15 minutes walk away through woodland paths. Newquay and Padstow are accessible by car or bus. Overall a great place for a break.

20-3-2010 We go to Sun Haven Valley several times every year. About 15 minutes walk from the beach, so you don;t get the noise, or the sand & litter blowing about the site but you can park the car at the tent and walk there - nice pub on the beach as well. Site is small ( 100 pitches) but clean and very quiet - there's no club or bar, no loud music, no noisy nightime teenagers, no barbeques going on to the early hours, etc.etc. etc. ( very strict in the silence at 10.30. The facilities are good, - nice playground & open lawns for the kids to play on + a little stream and there's a lot of attention to detail - picnic benches on the campsite ( first come first served ), campers get use of fridges, freezers, microwaves, pizza oven ( very good for oven chips), we like it

25-11-2009 Staying in late July we loved that the site was well controlled. Silence at 10.30pm actually works on this site & the owners was quite abrupt with anyone who was noisy or out or order - the 2 couples who woke us up when they came back at 3am were ordered off the site before 9am. The toilet block is a little dated but kept very clean and the facilities are very good - campers fridge, ice-pack freezers, microwaves(20p), pizza oven, laundry, inernet computers & general wi-fi across the site ( no TV signals though - regulars seem to take those portable satellite dishes). The walk through the woods to the beach is pleasant & much safer than the road but took us 20 mins with a 5 year old & all the beach clobber. There were very few teenagers for summer holidays & the children roamed quite safely on the empty pitches around us. No food on site, but good pubs & other options nearby. A little on the expensive side but we'd go again. Mawgan Porth beach is great

21-4-2009 Sun Haven Caravan park owner was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Due to a misunderstanding on the camp site owners behalf the owner preceeded to verbally abuse our family group (which included a two year old). After this outburst we were asked to leave in the pouring rain. The owner was verbally agressive and extremely over bearing. When I said we would not be returning he replied "good", showing no remorse, or apology. Very dissapointed and distugsted by behaviour witnessed.
